Natural, Safe Breast Augmentation

Turn a B-cup and a Little Pooch into a C-cup, No Pooch

Fat transfer to the breast, also known as autologous fat transfer or fat grafting, is a surgical procedure that involves removing fat from one area of the body, such as the thighs, abdomen, or hips, and transferring it to the breast to enhance its shape, size, and volume. This technique can be used to address breast asymmetry, improve the contour of the breast, and provide a modest increase in breast size.  The ideal aesthetic results are in women with A or B cup sizes, with a resulting C-cup.

During the procedure, Dr. Wilkes first performs liposuction to remove excess fat from the donor area. The fat is then processed and purified to remove any impurities or damaged cells. The purified fat is then carefully injected into the breast tissue.

Fat transfer to the breast has several advantages over traditional breast augmentation with implants:

  • It uses the patient’s own tissue, reducing the risk of rejection or allergic reactions.
  • It also allows for more natural-looking results,
  • The fat can be carefully sculpted to match the patient’s natural breast shape.

However, fat transfer to the breast has some limitations. The amount of fat that can be safely transferred is limited, and the procedure may not provide a large amount of  volume increase, particularly for patients who desire a more dramatic change in breast size.
